remote update

Hey everyone. It's been a couple of weeks here since last visiting, so here's an update for you.

Kitchen training was interesting. We spent the first two weeks here in Calgary working out of a very slow, very dirty kitchen. It is kind of funny that the trainers keep telling us of how things should be, yet when we walk in the kitchen it is the opposite of what they are telling us. Definitely an example of how not to do things.

That side of the training is done though, and we are now starting our training in the dining room. It will not be much busier out front, but it will be cleaner, and more of what I am used to every day coming in to work.

It's been pretty boring outside of work. There is not much for Dave and I to do, except hang out in our hotel room watching mostly garbage TV and heading out to the odd movie. Dining out everyday for every meal is getting old too, but there is not much to cook with our microwave.

Today begins the two week countdown, which we are both very excited for. Pretty sure we could have completed the training in 2 weeks instead of 4, instead it is just getting dragged out. Hopefully these 2 weeks will fly by and we can get home to see our families soon.
